Our Story
Keys for Kindness was founded by twin brothers Andre and Ethan Wang with a simple belief: music can do more than entertain. It can touch hearts, create connections, and make a difference in someone’s day.
As passionate pianists, we’ve been fortunate to perform at Carnegie Hall and receive awards at international piano competitions. We are grateful for these experiences and everything they have taught us as musicians. But over time, we began to realize that the most meaningful part of music isn’t always the stage, the applause, or the awards. Sometimes, it’s the smile on someone’s face when they hear a song they love.
The idea for Keys for Kindness began during a school visit to a retirement home. We saw how much joy a simple conversation could bring. Residents lit up as we spent time with them and listened to their stories. Those moments stayed with us. They made us realize that if simply being there could brighten someone’s day, perhaps we could do even more by sharing something we loved: music.
Through Keys for Kindness, we bring live music to senior communities and children’s hospitals, creating moments of joy, comfort, and connection. Whether a familiar melody brings back a cherished memory or a performance simply brings a smile, we hope our music can make someone’s day a little brighter and help them feel a little less alone.
Our mission is simple: to use our passion for music to spread joy, build connections, and uplift spirits.
What started with two brothers and a love for piano has grown into something much bigger: a way to give back, bring people together, and share the gift of music with those who need it most.
